They are the only cameras to offer optical magnification through the camera – a 20 degree field of view! This allows you to monitor glaucoma and stereo imaging by observing the optic nerve head and posterior pole directly without sacrificing image quality.
The Kowa VK-2 digital imaging software is the most advanced software package available. All major features in the software are on one screen and macro enabled, reducing the number of drop down menus required. All images for each patient visit are stored in a single file, making it extremely simple to look up previous and current exams. All viewing stations software provided at no additional charge.

— Kowa VK Digital Slit Lamp Imaging System —
Kowa introduces a brand new Digital Slit Lamp imaging system. The Kowa VK-Digital Slit Imaging System adds image capture capability to slit lamps. This revolutionary software features live video display and video capture replay, as well as still frame capture from both live and recorded video. This offers practitioners the ability to have frame-by-frame image comparison, and provides a historical record of digital images for diagnosis, education and legal documentation.
The VK slit lamp system utilizes our VK-2 Imaging Software. This is the same software that runs our Kowa Fundus camera. If you own a Kowa imaging system already this is the same software you are currently operating. If both imaging systems are on your network we can share one database for all your patient images.
